Sheikha Hoor bint Sultan Al Qasimi: Biennials sites and responsibilities

Date: Monday, 2 February Time: 7 pm Location: Amricani Cultural Centre Language: English We invite you to attend the lecture, “Biennials sites and responsibilities”, presented by Sheikha Hoor bint Sultan Al Qasimi. HE Sheikha Hoor Bint Sultan Al Qasimi is President and Director of the Sharjah Art Foundation, an independent public arts organisation she established in 2009. She is also the Director of the Sharjah Biennial and was curator of the critically acclaimed Sharjah Biennial 15: Thinking Historically in the Present (2023). Finally, Al Qasimi serves in many other creative capacities and is currently the Artistic Director of the sixth Aichi Triennale, becoming the first person to be chosen for the role from outside of Japan.
