Description

Murals are a visual narrative medium in documenting daily life, the evolution of societies, and the interaction of their members, enhancing identity and reflecting emotions through a visual lens that adds another beauty to public spaces. They allow visitors to contemplate, making history and culture tangible to the public. Murals are a language that transforms silent walls into a living community memory that reflects diverse human experiences and contributes to building cultural bridges between community members and other international communities through the presentation of diverse artworks. This cultural evening is held to highlight the role of murals in preserving heritage and presenting it in a creative manner, showcasing how it narrates the story of a community. The event begins with a tour to visit the mural at 3:30 PM, followed by a cultural evening about the project presented by researcher Chelsea Forsyth and artist Yusuf Saleh at 6:30 PM. The invitation is open to all. #Hilal_Cultural_Festival #Heritage_Renewed_and_Inexhaustible_Creativity #Kuwait_Capital_of_Arab_Culture_and_Media
