The lecture examines two Ayyubid-era charitable endowments established by women in Aleppo and Damascus, highlighting their educational, social, and architectural roles, and reflecting on the lasting impact of women’s contributions to scholarly endowments. Dr. Azza Omar Al-Rabbat holds a PhD in Islamic Studies and is a researcher and author specializing in endowments, environment, and women’s issues, with academic teaching experience and published works in these fields.
