Description

🌌 "Where light leads, the Sacred Bay reveals itself."

Description

North Sun Arc – The Sacred Bay is an easy, full-day guided experience designed for those who want to understand the land, not just pass through it.

The journey begins with a gentle walk and controlled descent to a hidden beach at Subiya Bay, where we observe the calm sea and the distant city. A quiet reminder of humanity’s ancient relationship with water.

From there, we follow the Northern Sun Arc, moving through carefully selected exploration points where we uncover traces of the Ubaid Civilization, explain the concept of the Sacred Bay, and explore the end of the Great Ancient River that once shaped early settlement and movement across the region.

The experience concludes at the Heights of Sacred Bay, with a light hike and panoramic sunset views overlooking northern Kuwait a grounded and reflective end to the day.

This is not a rushed trip.

🚙 4x4 & Carpooling

This experience is in a remote desert location.

A 4x4 vehicle is required to safely access the site due to sand, uneven terrain, and soft patches.

Don’t have a 4x4? No worries. You can choose Carpool eco option.

All routes are risk-assessed and environmentally responsible, avoiding unnecessary off-trail driving to protect fragile desert surfaces.

Carpooling – Eco Option

To reduce convoy size and minimize environmental impact, AlMaknoon encourages carpooling as a sustainable travel choice.

Carpooling helps:

  • Reduce carbon emissions
  • Lower fuel consumption
  • Minimize vehicle tracks in natural areas
  • Support responsible exploration

How it works:

  • Select Carpooling (Eco Option) at checkout

This contribution supports:

  • The driver’s additional effort
  • Fuel usage
  • Carrying passengers’ personal belongings and equipment
  • Extra responsibility during off-road driving

This approach follows eco-tourism best practices while fairly supporting participating drivers.

📸 Professional Photographer (Optional Add-On)

Capture your experience through the lens of a professional outdoor photographer.

By selecting this add-on, you will receive:

  • 10 professionally edited photos per participant
  • Personal portraits and candid moments
  • Selected group and landscape shots
  • A curated digital album after the experience

Price: +15 KWD per person

The photographer works discreetly in the background and does not interrupt the flow of the experience.

Photographer attendance is confirmed based on add-on selections.
