Red Bull Quicksand 2025

To run the hardest one kilometer on sand with different level of dunes. Red Bull Quicksand could be the toughest trail you've ever run. The course is special in an energy-sapping knockout format, with heats, semi-finals, and finals.

Event Date and Location:

·     Date: November 15, 2025

·     Time: 8:00 AM till 2:00 PM

·     Location: Marina Beach

·     Distance: 1 KM in each round

Race Format:

The event follows a knockout format with heats, semi-finals, and finals.

First Round (Timing):

Participants: The category is divided into 5 heats.

1st Heat: Male at 8:00 AM

2nd Heat: Female at Followed By

3rd Heat: Male at Followed By

4th Heat: Female Followed By

5th Heat: Male not before 8:45 AM

Qualification: The first 50% of participants in each heat will qualify for the semi-final based on timing in each wave separately

Semi-Final Round (Flags):

Participants: The first 50% from each heat in first round compete in the semi-final.

 1st Heat Semi-Final Male

·     2nd Heat Semi-Final Female

·     3rd Heat Semi-Final Male

In each wave of the semi-final, the first 25 participants who successfully collect a flag will qualify for the final.

Final Round (Flags):

Participants: The 25 qualifiers from each heat in the semi-final proceed to the final round.

1st Heat Final Male

2nd Heat Final Female

Winners: The first 3 participants from each gender category (male and female) who collected the flags will be declared the winners.

Rules:

Participants will be segregated based on gender into male and female categories.

It is strictly prohibited to switch between the heats. Once assigned to a specific heat based on gender, participants must adhere to their designated category throughout the competition.

In the qualifier round, results will be evaluated within each heat, emphasizing performance within the specific heat category rather than considering overall standings.
