Description
The Environment Public Authority announces a competition for producing a short documentary film about climate change in Kuwait. Participants can choose one of the following topics: - Adapting to climate change - Decreasing rainfall - Sandstorms - Rising sea levels and health impacts from heat and storms - Water sources and their impact from climate change - Impact of climate on ecosystems (fish stocks, animals, birds, etc.) Competition Conditions: - Video duration must be between 30 to 45 seconds. - File format should be MP4 with a minimum quality of 1080HD. - No personal logos should be placed on the video. - The submitted video must be real footage, not graphics, produced by the participant and must not have been published or submitted in any other competition. - An acknowledgment of intellectual property rights and consent for using the work for media and awareness purposes is required. - The Environment Public Authority holds the rights to use the winning videos and share them in campaigns and awareness materials, and participants cannot demand any compensation for the use of their videos. Submission Method: - Place the video on a flash drive and submit it to the Environment Public Authority, main building - Public Relations and Media Department, or send the video to PR@epa.gov.kw via attachment or link with the participant's full name, phone number, and civil ID. The deadline for submission is February 5, 2026. Winners will be announced on April 1, 2026, by the specialized judging committee, and winners will receive valuable prizes. #Kuwait_Challenges_Climate_Change #Environment
