The Global Crafts Forum is an international gathering that celebrates crafts as one of the deepest forms of human cultural expression, serving as a bridge between living heritage and contemporary innovation, while exploring its role in the creative economy and global cultural dialogue. The forum is held under the patronage of the National Council for Culture, Arts and Letters, in partnership with the World Crafts Council (WCCAISBL), and in coordination with the Sadu Craft Association - State of Kuwait. The forum brings together a select group of craft leaders, artisans, creatives, researchers, and cultural institutions from various countries around the world, within a three-day program that includes international lectures, knowledge exchange workshops, as well as live performances and selected exhibitions of traditional crafts. The forum represents a historic milestone coinciding with Kuwait's presidency of the Arab States region of the World Crafts Council, enhancing its status as a regional and global center for crafts.
