رحلة غنائية نسافر فيها من الخليج واليمن إلى مصر ولبنان لنحتفي بباقة من جواهر الأغنيات في القرن العشرين مع المطربين زينب بركات، ومشعل حسين ورامي عبد المنعم، والفرقة الموسيقية بقيادة د. أيوب خضر.

يحفل تراثنا الموسيقي بكثير من الأغنيات والألحان الطربية التي تماثل في بريقها وجمالها الجواهر الثمينة. في هذا الحفل، «جواهر طربية»، الذي تستضيفه قاعة الشيخ جابر العلي الموسيقية في 10 مايو المقبل، نلتقي مع مجموعة من أثمن الجواهر الطربية في الموسيقى العربية في رحلة غنائية عابرة للحدود نسافر فيها من الخليج العربي واليمن إلى مصر ولبنان، لنحتفي بأشهر وأجمل الأغنيات وأكثرها تأثيرًا في تاريخنا الفني في القرن العشرين، نستمع إليها من المطربين زينب بركات ومشعل حسين ورامي عبد المنعم بمصاحبة الفرقة الموسيقية تحت قيادة المايسترو د. أيوب خضر.

يمتاز برنامج الحفل بالتنوع الجغرافي للأغاني المنتقاة وبتنوع أصوات مطربيها الأصليين وأساليب الغناء. فتغنينا الفنانة زينب بركات باقة من أعمال نجاة الصغيرة ووردة وفيروز وكوكب الشرق، في حين يطربنا رامي عبد المنعم بأغنية «قارئة الفنجان» للعندليب الأسمر عبد الحليم حافظ. ويقدم لنا الفنان مشعل حسين ثلاثة من أعمال أحب نجوم الخليج عبدالكريم عبدالقادر ورباب ومحمد عبده. كما نستمع إلى ميدلي غنائي خليجي من أداء الكورال.

Jewels of Arabic Music
An evening of music celebrating some of the most renowned Arabic songs from the Gulf, Yemen, Lebanon and Egypt, performed by Zainab Barakat, Mishaal Hussein accompanied by Dr Ayoub Khedr’s ensemble.

The Arabic music heritage is filled with melodies and songs that are as beautiful and dazzling as jewels. On May 10th, Sheikh Jaber Al-Ali Concert Hall will host the concert “Jewels of Arabic Music” that takes us on a trip from the Arabian gulf and Yemen to Lebanon and Egypt through music. This concert features some of the most beautiful, influential, and famous Arabic songs of the twentieth century. They will be performed by Zainab Barakat, Mishaal Hussein, and Rami Abdel-Moneim, accompanied by the musical ensemble conducted by Dr Ayoub Khedr.

A unique characteristic of the event is its geographical diversity as well as the diversity of voice styles and personalities among the original singers. Zainab Barakat will perform Najat, Warda, Fairouz, and Umm Kulthum’s songs, while Rami Abdel-Moneim will sing one of Abdel-Haim Hafez’s most famous songs “Qareat El Fengan” (Tasseography Dame). Mishaal Hussein will showcase works by Khaleeji legendary singers Rabab, AbdulKarim Abdulqader, and Muhammad Abdo. A Khleeji medley will also be performed by the choir.
