Abdullah Issam Jassim Abdullah Al-Obaid is an Assistant Professor of History at Kuwait University, holding degrees from Kuwait University and the University of Exeter, with research interests in historiography, historical theory and methodology, and the relationship between political authority and Islamic historical writing.
