Course: Calligraph and Illuminate Instructor: Artist & Calligrapher Mashael Al-Tarabulsi Content: Learning Kufic Mashriqi script with simple floral ornamentation. Duration: 3 Days (2 hours daily) on 15, 16, and 17 December from 5 PM to 7 PM Location: Yarmouk Cultural Centre Course Outline: • Introduction to Kufic Mashriqi script • Practical training on writing letters and simple words. • Introduction to Islamic floral ornamentation. • Practical training on drawing simple patterns and coloring. • Designing a personal artwork that combines Kufic calligraphy with floral ornamentation. • Producing a complete artwork including design, tracing, and coloring.
