Since its inception in 1958, "Al-Arabi" magazine has sought to provide a vibrant and documented image of Arab societies and their vitality. It has particularly focused on highlighting the professional roles played by Arab women in the labor market through publishing many expressive photographs on the magazine's pages, captured by the lenses of "Al-Arabi" photographers in their visual surveys covering various regions of the Arab world. These efforts have broken stereotypes to present an abstract image of the Arab woman and her significant role in the development process. As part of the 2026 Qurain Cultural Festival, "Al-Arabi" magazine found an opportunity to honor Arab women by showcasing aspects of their journey in a visual journey reflecting the rich diversity of their economic, social, and other roles, through the establishment of the exhibition (Arab Woman.. Half of Development), which includes a selected collection of photographs.
