Geo-Environmental Risks and Geo-Technical Challenges

Invitation to attend a series of lectures on "Geohazards and Geotechnical Challenges". The Kuwait Geological Society invites you to attend a series of lectures organized by the Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research, in collaboration with several governmental and private entities. These lectures will take place from January 20 to January 21, 2026, from 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research in Al-Minhil Hall. The opening speech will be delivered by Dr. Abdullah Al-Anzi, Executive Director of the Environment and Life Sciences Research Center and a board member of the Kuwait Geological Society. Additionally, Dr. Mubarak Al-Hajri, Chairman of the Kuwait Geological Society, will present a lecture titled "Evidence of Linking Incidents and Natural Phenomena in Kuwait to Subsurface Geological Factors and Their Implications on Geological and Environmental Hazards" on the first day at 11:25 AM.
