Exploring the Night Sky in Salmi Desert

Join us for an unforgettable stargazing journey in the Salmi Desert. Witness the beauty of the horizon in Kuwait’s desert beneath the stunning winter sky dome. We will observe stars and celestial objects using an astronomical telescope, with explanations of key astronomical phenomena led by a specialized astronomy researcher. Delicious meals will be provided. The trip will take place in the Salmi Desert starting at 5:00 PM. You may leave at any time, as we will remain on site until late. Please note that seating is limited, and children under 13 years old are not permitted. Kindly arrive in your own vehicles. The event will take place on Friday, May 29. Come with us as we share stories of the distant past and the future. Ticket price: 13 KD Youth ticket (ages 13–17): 7 KD, provided a parent or guardian is present. The ticket includes a delicious hot meal prepared especially for you by skilled chefs, in addition to beverages. Seats are limited. A special discount is available for participants of Civilizational Advancement in Outer Space courses.
