Description
The Public Authority for Social Security launched the second edition of the Kuwaiti Retirees Exhibition for small business owners, coinciding with the country's national celebrations. This year, the exhibition takes place in a vibrant and unique location in the heart of Souk Al-Mubarakiya specifically on Al-Sarareef Street. It aims to serve as a platform that brings together the essence of Kuwaiti heritage and the creativity of national talents from retirees. The exhibition will be open to visitors from Sunday, February 8, 2026, to Thursday, February 12, 2026, for 12 continuous hours daily, starting from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM. The Acting Director General of the Authority, Mr. Khaled Jasem Al-Mudaf, stated that the organization of this event coincides with the national holiday celebrations as a contribution to enhancing national spirit among community members. It also expresses the institution's commitment to social responsibility towards retirees, considering them a fundamental group with valuable experience and competencies that deserve support and empowerment. He congratulated the beloved State of Kuwait, both government and people, on the occasion of its national holidays, praying to God to sustain the blessing of security and safety under the patronage of His Highness the Amir of the State. This year's exhibition has expanded significantly, featuring 100 booths dedicated to retired entrepreneurs showcasing their diverse projects, including perfume making, clothing, handicrafts, and various other activities. This expansion aims to provide an opportunity for the largest number of project owners to engage in their commercial activities and communicate directly with the public in one of Kuwait's most historic and vibrant markets. The exhibition also sees participation and support from leading national entities such as Al-Rawdatain Company, Al-Saidawi Company, and Kuwait Flour Mills and Bakeries Company, enhancing the event's value and affirming the collective national efforts to support Kuwaiti products and small business owners among retirees.
