Acting Workshop: Talking Body in Theater & Film
How can actors use the body to express feelings, emotions, and experiences? And how can the body affect the spoken word? What stories can be told without the use of verbal language? We are pleased to announce an acting workshop with the Austrian-based actress and performer Rosa Braber. Over the course of two days, she will guide participants through various exercises. Participants will learn a set of tools and explore the powerful language of their bodies.
Please note: The number of participants is strictly limited to 15 persons. Due to long waiting lists, please only register if you are able to attend.
Who: young actors and actresses (theatre & film)
When: Tue, 10 - Wed, 11 October, 2023 | both days from 6 – 9 PM (Kuwait time)
Where: online via Zoom (login information will be provided upon confirmed participation)

Costs: The workshop is free of charge, but registration is essential

About Rosa Braber:
Rosa Braber (*1989, NL) is an actress, performer, writer and director, based in Vienna (Austria), who has been artistically exploring the connection between body and voice. Braber has experience in solo and collaborative performances that have been shown at festivals in the Netherlands, Belgium, Austria and Germany. From 2015 to 2019 she was part of the off-scene performance collective ‘The Bernhard Ensemble'. In 2019, she co-founded the ‘Wolf Collective’; their performance 'Planet Sis' was nominated for a Stella Award. In addition to her freelance work, Braber teaches acting and performance at VETA, the acting academy of the Vienna English Theatre. Next season she will be affiliated with the Vienna Konzerthaus as a director.
