For those of you who want to take printmaking with a gelly plate to the next level.  Akua intaglio inks are environmentally friendly and have exceptional characteristics. 
Easy to clean with soap and water, yet yielding incredible translucency and luminosity simultaneously. 
These are light fast intaglio inks providing a sumptuous amount of detail and subtlety. 
You will be learning about tone and tint mixing as well as layering and creating textures with found and accessible materials. Taking with you a series of monoprints.
