افتتح اليوم 28 اكتوبر معرض "فجر التاريخ" في مركز الأمريكاني الثقافي، يمكنكم زيارة المعرض بأوقات عمل المتحف:

الإثنين إلى الخميس ١٠ص - ٧م
الجمعة ٢م - ٧م
السبت ١٠ص - ٧م

يحتوي المعرض على بعض القطع الاثرية المتنوعة التي تعود الى ما قبل التاريخ والعصر البرونزى المبكر وتشتمل على حضارات اخرى من مصر القديمة ووادي السند مع بلاد الشام والاناضول وبلاد النهرين.

ياتى هذا المعرض نتاج التعاون بين دار الآثار الإسلامية ممثلة في مجموعة الصباح الآثارية وكلية الآداب جامعة الكويت ممثلة في قسم التاريخ والاثار. ونتج عن هذا التعاون مشروع قدم من طلبة ماجستير التاريخ القديم والاثار باشراف أ.د احمد محمد سعيد استاذ تاريخ وآثار الشرق الادنى القديم.

Today 28 October 2024 was the opening of the exhibition Dawn of History at the Amricani Cultural Centre. You can now visit the exhibition during the museum’s work hours:

Monday to Thursday - 10 am to 7 pm
Friday - 2 pm to 7 pm
Saturday - 10 am to 7 pm

The exhibition showcases artifacts collected by late Sheikh Nasser Sabah al-Ahmad al-Sabah( 1948-2020), from Prehistory to the Early Bronze Age, from ancient Egypt, the Indus Valley, the Levant, Anatolia, and Mesopotamia.

This exhibition is a result of collaboration between DAI and Kuwait University, College of Arts, which led to post-graduate studies and the university offering masters degrees in Ancient History and Archeology. Students, supervised by Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Saeed, produced a catalogue comprised of selections from The al-Sabah Collection dating back to prehistoric times.
