الماراثون الأكبر في الكويت. يحمل ماراثون مسار سباق مميز مما يعطي تجربة لا مثيل لها ذات طابع خلاب للتراث العربي والفن المعماري الحضاري. يعد ماراثون السباق الأول المعتمد من قبل الرابطة الدولية للماراثون وسباقات المسافات وألعاب القوى العالمية وهيئة اوبوت العالمية للماراثون.

يقسم السباق إلى اربع فئات

١٠ كلم - سباق للجري

كلم - سباق النصف الماراثون ٢١

٤٢ كلم - سباق الماراثون

كما يدعم ماراثون بنك الخليج كل عام قضية من أجل زيادة الوعي كجزء من مسؤوليته الاجتماعية

The biggest marathon hosted in the heart of Kuwait. The race course being the most unique route which takes you through an experience like no other from the beautiful Arabian heritage to the modern architectural pieces of art. It is the first ever full road race certified by AIMS (Association of International Marathons & Distance Races), World Athletics, and recognized by (WMM) Abbott World Marathon Majors.

The event consists of the following distances and categories:

- 5KM – Run

- 10KM – Run

- 21KM – Half Marathon

- 42KM - Full Marathon

Gulf Bank 642 Marathon also supports a cause each year in order to raise awareness and to encourage donations as part of its social responsibility.
