Opening Ceremony of the Arab Children’s Theatre Festival "Stop Play" - افتتاح المهرجان العربي لمسرح الطفل وعرض مسرحية ستوب

On September 1, the Drama Theatre will host the opening ceremony of the 8th edition of the Arab Children’s Theatre Festival, which will feature the short play “Stop”, conceived, written, and scripted by Dr Hussein Al-Musallam, directed by Abdullah Al-Turkmani and Mohammed Al-Musallam, and performed by a group of children. 

The play’s events are infused with the world of childhood and imagination, as seven children take the audience on a journey full of surprises into an atmosphere brimming with wonder and enchantment. Blending seamlessly with the opening ceremony, this innovative production creates a unique and delightful adventure, alive with interaction, joy, and optimism—an experience never before seen at the festival, whether in Kuwait or across the Arab world. The play affirms that the child is not merely a spectator, but an active partner in this new edition. 

يستضيف مسرح الدراما في الأول من سبتمبر حفل افتتاح الدورة الثامنة من المهرجان العربي لمسرح الطفل، والذي يتضمن العرض المسرحي القصير «ستوب Stop»؛ فكرة وتأليف وسيناريو وحوار د. حسين المسلم. إخراج الفنانَين عبدالله التركماني ومحمد المسلم، وبطولة مجموعة من الأطفال.  

 وتُعدّ أحداث العرض مشبعة بعالم الطفولة والخيال، حيث يصحبنا سبعة أطفال في رحلة مليئة بالمفاجآت إلى أجواء تمتلئ بالدهشة والإبهار. ويمتزج هذا العرض المبتكر مع فعاليات الافتتاح ليشكل لوحةً فريدة ومغامرة مبهجة، نابضة بالتفاعل والفرح والتفاؤل، لم يشهدها المهرجان من قبل، سواء في الكويت أو على مستوى الوطن العربي، مؤكِّدًا أن الطفل ليس مجرد متفرج، بل بل شريك فعّال في هذه الدورة الجديدة.
