The International Philharmonic Orchestra Paris (OPI Paris) - أوركسترا باريس الفيلهارموني الدولي

For the first time in Kuwait, Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmed Cultural Centre will host the Orchestre Philharmonique International de Paris (OPI Paris), one of the most prestigious orchestras in France and the resident orchestra of UNESCO. Over two nights, October 2-3, the orchestra will perform a selection of classical pieces and film soundtracks by French and European composers, including Georges Bizet, Maurice Ravel, Camille Saint-Saëns, Verdi, Tchaikovsky, Maurice Jarre, Francis Lai, and others.

Founded in 1997, the Orchestre Philharmonique International de Paris (OPI Paris) brings together fifty high-level professional musicians from twenty different nationalities. Under the musical and artistic direction of its founder, conductor Amine Kouider, OPI Paris has achieved artistic excellence, performing some of the greatest works of symphonic music, opera, and oratorio. The orchestra has participated in high-level concerts, tours, and festivals across France (in cities such as Marseille, Lyon, Nice, Reims, Caen, Chartres, Chantilly, Arles, Bayonne, and Guadeloupe) and internationally in Algeria, Tunisia, and Saudi Arabia.

This event is organized in collaboration between the National Council for Culture, Arts, and Letters and the French Embassy in Kuwait.

نستهل حفلاتِنا للموسيقى الكلاسيكية، في هذا الموسم، مع أوركسترا باريس الفيلهارموني الدولي الذي يُعَد من أهم الفرق الأوركسترالية في فرنسا، وهو الأوركسترا المقيم لمنظمة اليونسكو. وعلى مدى ليلتين، 2-3 أكتوبر، يقدِّم لنا مجموعة من المقطوعات الكلاسيكية والموسيقى التصويرية للأفلام، لأشهر المؤلفين الفرنسيين والأوروبيين من بينهم جورج بيزيه، وموريس رافيل، وكامي سان صانس، وفيردي و فرانسيس لاي وموريس جار وآخرين.

تأسس الأوركسترا في العام 1997، ويضم 50 عازفًا من أفضل الموسيقيين المنتمين إلى عشرين جنسية مختلفة. ويتولى الإشراف عليه فنيًّا وموسيقيًّا المايسترو الجزائري أمين قويدر الذي نال مع الأوركسترا، في العام 1999، لقب «فنان اليونسكو من أجل السلام» تقديرًا لالتزامهم بتعزيز التسامح وثقافة السلام. عزف الأوركسترا أعظمَ المؤلفات الموسيقية الكلاسيكية والأوبرات، كما شارك في حفلات وجولات ومهرجانات رفيعة المستوى في فرنسا وخارجَها، وفي الوطن العربي قدَّم عروضَه في الجزائر وتونس والمملكة العربية السعودية.

تقام هذه الفعالية بالتعاون بين المجلس الوطني للثقافة والفنون والآداب وسفارة فرنسا في الكويت.
