Weirder Wednesdays - وييردر الأربعاء!

Welcome to our second Weirder Wednesdays! 🌟 an ongoing series of creative talks where local creatives get to share their ideas, show off cool projects, and tell the stories behind what they make.

Our second speaker will be Yolla Ali (@yolla95), an artist and architect based in Kuwait.

Yolla graduated with a Bachelor of Architecture from the American University of Sharjah and has since built a career in Kuwait, contributing to various regional projects.

Her passion for illustration and art began in her early years and took shape through the practice of visual journaling. Over time, this practice has evolved into both personal and commissioned works.

Yolla’s interests are deeply rooted in the creative sphere – including food, art, and community building.

تخرجت يولا بدرجة البكالوريوس في الهندسة المعمارية من الجامعة الأمريكية في الشارقة ومنذ ذلك الحين بنت مسيرة مهنية في الكويت، مساهمة في مشاريع إقليمية متنوعة.

بدأ شغفها بالرسم والفن في سن مبكرة واستشكل من خلال ممارسة التدوين البصري. مع مرور الوقت، تطورت هذه الممارسة إلى أعمال شخصية ومأمورة.

اهتمامات يولا متجذرة بعمق في المجال الإبداعي - بما في ذلك الطعام، والفن، وبناء المجتمع.
